How can I select Reading & Writing lessons?
Reading & Writing lessons are designed for fluent Mandarin-speaking students. If you speak Chinese with them at home, or they have attended an immersion school for many years, these lessons will probably be a good fit for them.
We will assess them during the demo and see their comfort level in the lessons. We may recommend that they try Listening & Speaking lessons to continue working on their comfort and skill in speaking and/or pronunciation. Students entering Reading & Writing should be comfortable speaking in full paragraphs with proper grammar and intonation.
