How can my child learn faster/better?

Lingo Bus classes are designed with a flipped classroom model. There are materials, such as videos, workbooks, flashcards, etc. that your child can watch and practice with before class. They can learn the new vocabulary, practice pronouncing the new words, and trace the characters they will be learning.

During class, your child and the teacher will speak completely in Chinese. The teachers are trained to adjust their rate of speech and the number of words they use to make classes understandable. They will also use gestures/movements and encourage your child to use them as well. These are part of Total Physical Response learning and will help your child to internalize the meaning of new words. Watching the playbacks of class is another great way to aid learning.

After class, your child can take the quiz and also review using the workbooks and other review materials.
