Where do I find supplementary materials?

PC:

Go to the Study page then choose a scheduled or complete class, you will see all the preview and review materials for that class. Click "Unit Materials" on the upper right corner to find supplementary unit materials for that unit.

To find the songs, go to the "Resources" tab and then find "Chinese chant" and locate the lesson your child is on. Level one is organized by cities. Beijing is the first city. You can also find the songs on Youtube on our playlist: Lingo Bus Unit One and Two Songs

iPad App:

1. Click "Scheduled Class" on homepage, then click the orange/green portion of the class, and you will be able to see and access "Preview", "Review" and "Playback".

2.Click "Major Class" on the homepage then choose a scheduled class or completed class, then click the green/orange portion of the class, and you will be able to see and access "Preview", "Review" and "Playback".

3. To preview songs, click "Resources" at the bottom of this screen and then "Chinese chant".

Listening & Speaking Supplementary materials 

Preview

Video: Preview the content of a new lesson. Students can comprehensively perceive key vocabulary and sentences in context by watching fun animations.

Flashcards: After watching the preview video, students can use flashcards to better understand key vocabulary using visual memory. Students can use flashcards to practice on their own repetitively.

 

Review

Flashcards: By using the review mode, students can evaluate if they have fully mastered all the key vocabulary and do the quiz to consolidate vocabulary knowledge.

Audio Book: Audio Book includes all the key phrases and expressions learned in classes. By using it, students can review key phrases and expressions just like reading a book.

Lesson Quiz : Evaluate students' listening and understanding of key vocabulary, phrases and sentences.

 

Unit Material

Workbook: Consolidate key vocabulary and language function through gaming practice.

Writing Sheet: Practice character writing and the ability to use hand and eye coordination to handwrite collaboratively. 

Words and Grammar List: Check keywords and sentences learned in each unit.

Game Card: Practice key phrases and expressions and learn with more ease by playing games and completing missions.

 

 

Reading & Writing Supplementary Materials 

Preview

Flashcards: Learn pronunciation, shape, and meaning of characters during usage, helping them preview and extend vocabulary.

 

Review

Flashcards: By using the review mode, students can evaluate if they have fully mastered all the key vocabulary and do the quiz to consolidate vocabulary knowledge.

Audio Book: Review class content and strengthen reading capacity.

Lesson Quiz: Comprehensively evaluate students' listening and reading capacity.

Unit Quiz: Evaluate students' listening and reading capacity of the unit content comprehensively.

 

Unit Materials

Writing Sheet: Practice character, vocabulary and sentence writing. Consolidate character recognition and discovering the characteristics of characters. 

Workbook: Consolidate unit knowledge, practice and cultivate student's comprehensive Chinese capability.
